Woody was a werewolf on the HBO original series True Blood. A member of a pack of wolves from Shreveport, Louisiana, Woody was a loyal supporter to his packmaster, JD Carson, and met an untimely demise during his only appearance, on the episode "Hopeless" in the series' fifth season.

Woody was a werewolf from Shreveport, Louisiana and at some unknown point in time became a member of JD Carson's pack.
Season 5[]
"Hopeless"[]
Woody and Nate assisted JD Carson in helping Russell Edgington to recover from being buried underground, capturing humans for him to feed on while he recuperates in an abandoned asylum. Alcide Herveaux learns of Russell's escape and helps the Vampire Authority to track him to the asylum. JD has his pack attack Alcide's party just as they find Russell. Nate fought Bill Compton and Woody fought Eric Northman. Both wolves put up a good fight but were defeated and killed. Eric threw Woody very hard against a wall, killing him.
Powers and Abilities[]
Woody was a werewolf. He was more powerful than a human, but weaker than a vampire of a moderate age. Woody was no match for Eric Northman, a 1,000 year old vampire. Woody possessed the ability to shift from human form into werewolf form at will like all werewolves.
