Vonetta is a resident of the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American guest starring actress Missy Doty, Vonetta makes her debut on the episode "Nothing but the Blood", at the beginning of the series' second season. Playing a recurring role in the same season, Vonetta is seen once more, on the episode "Cold Grey Light of Dawn" in the series' fourth season.

She and her friend Coralee photograph Pamela Swynford de Beaufort when she attacks Tara Thornton and Naomi in Bon Temps. Coralee suggests that they can sell her video footage to TMZ for 10K and Vonetta asks her to share it with her. They notice Pam's decaying appearance and Coralee suggests that she is a zombie, shocking Vonetta. Pam angrily corrects them and leaves. ("Cold Grey Light of Dawn")
