We've got more reviews for you, chilled, over ice. New York Magazine did an in-depth Tru Blood taste-test. Their results? the packaging is exquisite, and the flavor is "refreshing and not too sweet". Tru Blood Reviews are In[]

The folks over at NBC News sank their teeth into some Tru Blood, and the reviews are positive. "Sinfully delicious," "Fruity and sweet, with a nice fizzy bite at the end," and "[it transports me] straight to Merlotte's" were just some of the comments. (and yes, we do rock the Oxford comma.)

Comic-Con 2009 Official Introduction of the Tru Blood Drink[]

It's official! The Tru Blood drink has now been "de-fictionalized" and emerges into reality as a delicious blood orange carbonated drink. Introduced during the True Blood forum at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con on July 25, 2009, the drink will hit store shelves in September, but you can pre-order online today. It boasts a crisp, slightly tart, lightly sweet tang, and a deep red color to match the appearance of the Tru Blood product featured on the True Blood series. The premium blood orange drink is packaged in a completely unique 14 oz glass wide-mouth bottle, stained in a rich red, with raised Tru Blood English lettering and an embossed Japanese Kanji on the neck. A gold-foil label emblazoned with the bold Tru Blood logo completes the distinctive look. Stay tuned for more info on the drink's upcoming roll-out.
