Does anyone think that the faeries are lying to Snookie because she's a very powerful fae? Junebugg666 (talk) 14:58, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

Sookie isn“t really a fae, she is only a halfling, although in the tv series there isn“t much difference between fairies and halflings. In my opinion in the series halflings are exactly like fairies (photokinesis, telepathy etc.) and the only difference is that their powers are finite. It looks like they start of as fairies and slowly turn human, when they use their powers.193.22.166.88 08:42, November 10, 2017 (UTC)

Somehow Sookie seems to be very weak or unskilled with her Fairy Powers. In the series she has great trouble to control her telepathy (to shut out the thoughts of other people), while full fairies like Warlow, Claudine, Claude, her "grandfather" Niall Brigant and the other fairies at the fairy plane aren“t always in the heads of other people and don“t seem to have any trouble with it. The same with Halflings like Adilyn Bellefleur and her sisters and Hadley Hale“s son Hunter Savoy, who are younger then Sookie and already have better control over their powers. And since Sookie and the other Halflings (Barry Hollowitz, Earl Stackhouse etc.) also couldn“t read the thoughts of the fairies at the fairy plane (or they would have realized, that they shouldn“t eat those light fruits) there also must be a method to shield your thoughts from others, right?193.22.166.88 10:20, October 25, 2017 (UTC)

I don't think that Sookie should be considered a "good marksman, seen when she shoots and kills Debbie."  Yes, she shot Debbie, but it was with a shotgun... from point blank range... The shotgun was touching Debbie when she pulled the trigger.

She was 25 when the series begins, but after six years her age is 27?  There are a lot of age inconsistencies in this wiki.

She was indeed 25 in 2008 when the series started. But the series' timeline takes place over the course of 7 seven years. A common misconception is that each season is a year. It's not. So if a character dies in Season 3, therefore, the year wouldn't be listed as 2010, it would be listed as 2008, because it's still 2008. But you're right. I changed her age to the real age, 32. Read this for a more detailed look into my conclusions on the timeline: User blog:Adamantoise/Timeline Chronology and Series Continuity. The timeline in your blog seems a little bit incorrect, since you wrote correctly that Sookie went to the fairy land in 2008, but in your timeline she came back in late 2010, so she would be away for 2 years. I think it should be 2009 when Sookie came back, what means the whole story with the authority and warlow took place in late 2009-early 2010, right? And there is another thing with her families timeline I don“t understand. In this wiki it“s stated that Linda Stackhouse (Sookies aunt and Hadley“s mother) is Corbetts younger sister and he was born in 1959, what means that Linda“s birthdate must be somewhere after 1960, right? But Hadley seems as old as Jason or maybe even a little bit older, what would be very strange. Another question would be what is Linda Stackhouse“s full name (Linda Stackhouse or Linda Delahoussye), because it“s different on different pages on this wiki?.2003:86:6E0F:200:E5F6:E99E:8343:ED02 19:15, September 18, 2017 (UTC)
The date of her parents death (1990) on this wiki, isn“t right, too. In Season 1 Episode 2 Sookie told Bill that her parents died, when she was nearly 8 and since Sookie was born in May 1983 her parents death would be in 1991.2003:86:6E13:5D00:824:F484:5D90:1856 15:54, August 1, 2017 (UTC)
You are correct. The dates have been changed. Thank you for noticing the error! - (talk) 22:29, August 2, 2017 (UTC)
Please, can somebody explain, what really happened in the night, where Sookie and Jason“s parents died. In one flashback their parents were attacked and killed by Macklyn Warlow, who was tempted by the scent of Sookies blood on a patch at the backseat of the car and couldn“t control himself, before he was banished by Claudine. But in Season 6 it is stated that he killed them in cold blood to "save" Sookie from their parents, who tried to kill her before she could become a faerie-vampire like Warlow. So in the second version, Sookie was within the car to be killed and would have memories of the night, right? Doesn“t really make sense.193.22.166.88 08:56, November 3, 2017 (UTC)
What do you think Sookie would have become, if Warlow had turned her into a vampire and what powers she would have?79.240.17.42 19:14, March 15, 2017 (UTC)

Different angle Sookie? Or just me?[]

Been entertaining the idea lately that I maybe would have loved to see a dark Sookie arc even over a dark Bill? Sure, it's awesome to see a different side of the ever-perfect Bill Compton but I can't help but have that little niggling in the back of my head that just goes "Okay but what if Sookie genuinely just had enough and snapped? Or someone led her to snap?"

They didn't use the fae well enough, I think that's a collective idea that they could have developed them more and I just can't help but have that little idea that maybe it would have been a good idea to knock two birds with one stone and add depth to both the fae kind and Sookie's character. Throughout the show, I felt that she stayed a little stagnant in the southern Belle of goodness character while everyone else got their own little development (i.e. Jason I feel developed a lot right from get-go from the Church to the Warlow thing, Tara with becoming a vampire, Eric with losing his memory and teaming up with Bill and even Bill becoming king).

Sookie having a little bit of a character change and becoming darker through having a period becoming evil I feel would have been a strange and new angle that could have been taken in so many ways. It would have been also really interesting to see what happened to Sookie when she realized it was wrong? Like, how she saw the world after it and where certain things fell on her moral scale.

I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. It just would have been awesome to see maybe - like a Dark One Emma Swan situation.
