Faerie-vampire, vampire-faerie, faerie-vampire hybrid, or vampire-faerie hybrid? I don't know if hybrid is appropriate, since they seem to be just faeries that have been turned.--Ragestorm (talk) 13:03, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed. For starters, Warlow was fae before he was vampire, so the correct order is faerie-vampire. Secondly, Rob Kazinksy has specifically rejected the term "hybrid", as Warlow is not a combination of the two species, but simply a fae who is also a vampire.--

- If Sookie would have been turned by Warlow, do you think she would become a faerie-vampire, too, since she was a halfling before (and not even a pure halfling)? Or would she become something like a Halfling-vampire?2003:86:6E32:AF00:D8C1:3A44:3D85:873B 08:29, November 4, 2017 (UTC)
Were/shifter-vampires[]
In the article says that it is no possible to turn a were into a vampire, but is that true? In the firsts episodes Bill tells to Sookie that some vampires can change their form. They may be shifters or weres turned into vampires. I think it's possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.26.113.0 (talk • contribs)
- I cannot recall it being specified that weres couldn't be turned and given the offer to turn Alcide in "Fire in the Hole" would definitely render the idea that they can't be turned as speculation. -The Light6 (talk) 22:54, August 4, 2014 (UTC)
Only faerie-vampire[]
The article speculates about the non-existent of other faerie-vampires existing or coming into existence; however in the latest episode, "May Be the Last Time", Dr. Lugwig reveals that she attended to a vampire with a full-blooded fae boyfriend, given this means there are actually fae and vampires who are in relationships this seems to damage the arguments of Warlow's exclusivity. Of course there is nothing to suggest that any other faerie-vampires have been created and given the show is ending it is extremely unlikely the subject will ever be broached again, but still. -The Light6 (talk) 22:54, August 4, 2014 (UTC)
Do yout think, if Sookie would have been turned by Warlow, she would be the same as him (same abilities, blood with unlimited daytime walking for everyone who drinks from her), since she was "only" a halfling at this time?193.22.166.88 10:15, July 20, 2016 (UTC)
- Sookie would have definitely acquired powers reminiscent of Warlow, similar to the way Bill responded after drinking the blood of Lilith, Warlow's maker! She would have definitely been one hell of a badass!! -

- I also thought that she would acquire powers similar to Warlow (Fairy powers, like Photokinesis and magic and all the typical vampire powers). But I´m not so sure with the daywalking, since halfling blood don´t has the same power as fairy blood (full-blood fairies). I would imagine that Sookie would have the power of infinite daywalking, but not the ability to give it to other vampires (would disappear nearly instantly, like when she was a halfling), since if a halfling would have the same abilities as Warlow after turning, Bill could have turned Adilyn Bellefleur or one of her sisters or Sookie to replace Warlow, when he couldn´t find him to save the vampires in camp. Simply turn them and use their blood to save the vampires (Bill was absolutly ruthless at this time, so one live wouldn´t have been a problem for him at this time).92.211.1.241 07:26, July 23, 2016 (UTC)
- Maybe Sookie would have been even better (not stronger through age gap, since Sookie would have been a lot younger) than Warlow, since Warlows fairy heritage and his vampirism doesn´t seem to have a balance, so he often lost control of himself. I think a halfling faerie-vampire would have been better balanced, since he was originally half-human, even though I think his/her blood wouldn´t be that powerful and good for vampires (infinite daywalking)., since he/she was only half-faerie.193.22.166.88 09:23, August 8, 2016 (UTC)
- The whole plot with faerie-vampire blood giving infinite daywalking to any vampire who drinks warlows blood and every other vampire could spread it further trough his blood is stupid. I could understand it, if warlows blood worked like the blood of every fairy in this show, but giving infinite daywalking would make him the number one prey for every vampire in history. Every vampire would have wanted it and nobody ever figured it out (since they knew that fairy blood could give daywalking abilities)? Warlow would be the most hunted person in history. And if Sookie would have been turned by Warlow and had the same abilities (warlow seemingly thought that) it would be even more stupid, since she was only a halfling at this time and her blood gave vampires daywalking abilities only for a few minutes. 193.22.166.88 10:09, November 25, 2016 (UTC)
- Logically the only vampire with the ability of infinite daywalking should be Warlow (and any other faerie or halfling who would be turned into a vampire), since only in their bodies the light crystals, which give the daywalking ability didn´t decompose. In every "normal" vampire (Eric, Tara etc.) the ability of daywalking shouldn´t wear of with time (like with halfling and faerie blood), since after a while the blood will leave their organism (the main reason vampires have to drink blood regulary) and with the blood they also willl lose their daywalking ability.
Faerie-Vampire abulities[]
Do you think it would be possible for a faerie-vampire to have a child? Since Warlow could eat and seemed to be alive (normal temperature etc.) do you think he would be able to have children?193.22.166.88 07:13, February 1, 2017 (UTC)
At first I liked the Daywalking in True Blood through the drinking of halfling or faerie blood (Halfling blood works for a few minutes, while faerie blood works for a few hours), but then the producers ruined everything with the Faerie-vampire hybrid Warlow, who could logically daywalk (like the hybrids in vampire diaries for example), since he has faerie blood all the time. But somehow every vampire, who only drank a sip of his blood and every vampire who drank from them etc. etc., could suddenly infinitly daywalking, too. And they never really explained, how that was possible, since the japanese scientist couldn´t synthesize Warlows blood, what should have been possible if the light crystals didn´t decompose (infinite daywalking). It would have understandable, if Warlows blood has worked better then that of a normal faerie (for example for a few days not hours), since he was a very old faerie (ca. 5500 years old, so his blood should be really strong) and also a vampire, so the "light crystals" (or something like that, like this japanese scientist said) would have needed more time to decompose, but in the series logic all Warlow had to do was just giving one sip of his blood to one vampire and then let the infinite daywalking ability spread like a plague through the vampires, only with somehow everything ending when Warlow died. If they had made it better that would have been a very cool storyline, because so it´s not understandable why Bill experimented the whole time with the blood of Andy´s children and Warlows blood, when he could have drank his blood immediatily and safe the vampires easily through let them drink his blood.
