Sid Matt Lancaster is a lawyer on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American actor George Gerdes, Sid is the lawyer who visits Sookie Stackhouse, and appears only on the episode "Nothing but the Blood" at the beginning of the series' second season.

Sid is a lawyer working in the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana. He pays Sookie a visit at the start of Season 2.
Season 2[]
Sid Matt Lancaster arrived to inform Sookie that her Uncle Bartlett has passed away. Sookie was unable to deal with any of this and, as usual, couldn't produce anything like an appropriate affect, so Sid Matt assumed she was grieving. According to him, Bartlett was a kind, giving man and he was proud to call him friend. Sid explained that Bartlett's body was found a few miles south of his town, having fallen into Walnut Creek by accident. He then produced a check from Uncle Bartlett's estate, which he handed over to Sookie. ("Nothing but the Blood")
