Shannon Lucio, born June 25, 1980 in Denver, Colorado, is an American actress who plays the role of Caroline Compton on the HBO original series True Blood. Making her debut on the episode "It Hurts Me Too" in the series' third season, Shannon plays the role of ex-confederate soldier turned Vampire King Bill Compton's wife. A "comely" dame seen during flashbacks of Bill's life in the mid-1800s, Shannon replaces American actress Gabrielle N. Brown, who plays the role of Caroline Compton in the series' first season. Playing a recurring role through the series' third and seventh seasons, Shannon was last seen on the episode "May Be the Last Time", in the series' seventh, and final, season.
