Sam's trailer refers to a mobile home owned by series regular Sam Merlotte on the HBO original series True Blood. Located just outside of Merlotte's Bar and Grill, now known as Bellefleur's Bar and Grill in the town of Bon Temps, Louisiana, Sam's Trailer plays a predominant role throughout the series' first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh, and final, season.

History

Background

Sam Merlotte moves to Bon Temps, Louisiana where he purchases a parcel of land, builds his dream bar and grill Merlotte's, and moves a mobile home on the same tract of land just behind the bar. He resides in the house, keeping an eye on the bar which bore his name.

Residents and Guests

Sam lives alone; however, on occasion, Tara Thornton is seen spending time with him. Sam also owns rental houses within the city of Bon Temps. Some of his tenants have been: Dawn Green, Tommy Mickens, Joe Lee Mickens, Arlene Fowler, and Terry Bellefleur.
