Ruben was a vampire, and an assassin on the HBO original series True Blood. Working as an assassin under fellow vampire and employer Eric Northman, Ruben is first mentioned on the episode "Bad Blood" in the series' third season. It is more than likely, that Ruben's activities weren't limited only to eliminating threats and finishing off people in Eric's way, but also to carry out the tasks that Eric didn't want to be linked to. Ruben meets the True Death at the hands of Pamela Swynford de Beaufort, on the Season 3 episode "Evil is Going On"

Ruben is first mentioned when Eric Northman calls him and asks him about his failed abduction of Bill Compton. ("Bad Blood")

"Evil is Going On"

Later, Bill, disguising his voice to sound like Eric, commands him to finish off Pamela Swynford de Beaufort, Eric's progeny. Later it is revealed that he failed his task again and was killed instead by her. ("Evil is Going On")
