Nathan Parsons, born June 16, 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia, is an Australian-born, American actor who plays the role of James Kent on the HBO original series' True Blood. Making his debut on the episode "Jesus Gonna Be Here", at the beginning of the series' seventh season, Nathan plays the role of a vampire who was being held captive in Burrell's Camp. Playing a recurring role through the same season, Nathan was the boyfriend of Jessica Hamby and later Lafayette Reynolds. Replacing Luke Grimes, an American actor who originally played the role of James in the series' sixth season, Nathan was a guest starring actor who last seen in the series' finale episode, "Thank You", in the series' seventh, and final, season.
