Nate was a werewolf on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American co-starring actor Brendan McCarthy, Nate makes his debut on the episode "Cold Grey Light of Dawn" in the series' fourth season. A werewolf in the pack from Shreveport, Louisiana, Nate was a loyal supporter to his packmaster, Marcus Bozeman. When Marcus dies, Nate hoped to become an Alpha Male, but is led astray by his new packmaster, JD Carson, who is working for vampire Russell Edgington in exchange for his blood. Playing a recurring role through the series' fourth and fifth seasons, Nate is killed fighting the vampire Bill Compton on Russell's behalf, and meets an untimely demise in the Season 5 episode "Hopeless".
