Nancy Crabtree was the mother of Sarah Newlin and Amber Mills on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American guest starring actress Bess Armstrong, she is described as a socialist mother, and met an untimely demise during her only appearance, on the episode "Lost Cause", in the series' seventh, and final, season.

"Lost Cause"[]

When Nancy was in toilet, Sarah came to her and said that she needed help because she was wanted by the Yakuza. Sarah admitted that she was responsible for creating the Infected Vampires and confessed that she is actually a Buddhist.

When the meeting was disrupted by the Yakuza, Nancy and Sarah tried to escape. However, Nancy was wounded and killed by the Yakuza. ("Lost Cause")
