Mrs. Hamby is Jessica Hamby's mother on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American actress Cheryl White, Mrs. Hamby appears only on the episode "Keep This Party Going" in the series' second season.

Biography

Season 2

"Keep This Party Going"

After seeing her parents on the news, Jessica begins to feel homesick and misses her family. She begs Sookie to take her to her parents' Later, Jessica's father comes home and the two embrace. Soon after, her father gets angry, shaking Jessica while shouting at her about how worried she had made them. This causes Jessica to retaliate by baring her fangs. Jessica tells her parents she was glad that she was turned into a vampire, and her mother says that "this isn't you." Jessica lashes out at her mother, stating that she doesn't know anything about her, and that she's too dumb to know anything. Jessica then threatens to kill her father, but before she can do so Bill bursts in the front door and commands Jessica to stop. ("Keep This Party Going")

Bill later glamours Jessica's family so that they forget the whole ordeal. ("Scratches")
