Sterling Norris is a recurring character on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American actor William Schallert, Sterling was the Mayor of Bon Temps, Louisiana. Making his debut on the episode "Sparks Fly Out" in the series' first season, Mayor Norris was a recurring guest star in the series' first and fourth seasons. He was last seen on the Season 4 episode "She's Not There".

Mayor Norris was present at the Descendants of the Glorious Dead meeting where Bill Compton spoke about his experiences serving in the Civil War. During the meeting, Norris gave Bill a long lost picture of Bill and his family taken in the 1800s, stirring up great emotion in Bill. ("Sparks Fly Out")

Mayor Norris was in attendance at the funeral of Adele Stackhouse, and was one of the many voices that Sookie was unable to keep out of her head in all her grief. ("Cold Ground")
