Madeline Kapneck was a vampire lawyer on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American actress Kathleen York, Madeline met an untimely demise during her only appearance, on the episode "Karma", in the series' seventh, and final, season.

Biography[]

Background[]

Madeline was a lawyer. Beyond her law duties, however, Madeline was a greedy woman who was willing to extort her clients. She wears Anti-Glamour contact lenses (purchased at Walgreens) to prevent vampires from being able to glamour her.

Season 7[]

"Karma"[]

After trying to extort a substantial sum of money from Bill Compton ($10,000,000) in return for letting him bypass the adoption process and naming Jessica Hamby as his heir, Madeline is murdered when Bill stabs her to death with her own letter opener. After killing her, Bill easily destroys the vampire guard, who rushes in hearing Madeline choking just to receive a pencil into his chest effectively staking him. ("Karma")
