Lutis is a human member of the court of Queen Sophie-Anne Leclerq. He hails from Latvia.
Biography[]
Season 2[]
According to the Queen, Lutis' blood is not polluted like most humans--a result of the industrial revolution, thus suggesting that he grew up in an extremely rural or sparsely populated/developed environment. Because of this, he is regarded as quite the delicacy among many vampires. He speaks in broken English.
Despite his lack of diction, Lutis is still able to effectively communicate and does so in a surprisingly direct and forthright manner. He is bi-sexual, as he bluntly and willingly prostrated himself before Bill Compton who refused the offer but fed off him nonetheless, much to the voyeuristic pleasure of Sophie-Anne (who "loves watching two men together").
In a game of Yahtzee, he is dubbed Sophie-Anne's "intellectual inferior," and indeed, he does not seem very bright. The fact that he is sent on errands with Hadley and is invited to play Yahtzee with the Queen makes his favoured status readily apparent.
Season 3[]
He was mentioned in season 3 by the Queen, when she called for him and Hadley Hale, after winning some money doing lottery scratch and asking for more cards. Most likely he was captured along with Hadley when Eric and Russell visited Sophie Anne's mansion in Louisiana. ("I Got a Right to Sing the Blues")
