LA: Area 5 is a vampire territory centered on Shreveport, Louisiana. It includes Renard Parish and is part of the kingdom of William Compton.
Area 5 used to be overseen by vampire sheriff Eric Northman. After Eric's promotion to chancellor of the Vampire Authority, Elijah Stormer was appointed as his successor. However, the recent death of Elijah leaves the area without a sheriff.
