John Henry Canavan, born December 27, 1969 in Toronto, Ontario, is a Canadian actor who plays the role of Wayne Bosen on the HBO original series True Blood. Playing the role of a vampire, John is a good old boy living in Louisiana. Living on the synthetic Tru Blood, rather than drinking the blood of humans or animals, John is a co-starring actor who is the leader of the Friday Night Fish Fry, and appears only in the series' premiere episode, "Strange Love", in the series' first season.
