Janella Lennox was vampire Liam McKnight's fangbanger on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by Italian actress Roberta Orlandi, Janella met an untimely demise during her only appearance, on the episode "Mine", in the series' first season.

Biography[]

Season 1[]

"Mine"[]

Alongside Jerry, a fellow fangbanger, she was taken to Bill's home by Malcolm, Diane and Liam. She is forced to perform oral sex on Liam when Sookie arrives. After Sookie discovered Jerry was infected with Hep D, the vampires, and Janella, left Bill's house to punish Jerry. Later, when Bill visits the three vampires in their nest, Liam claims that Janella "made the ultimate sacrifice" because of Jerry's actions, and her corpse is seen hanging upside down with her throat slit, with a bucket underneath to collect her blood.("Mine")

Personality[]

None of Janella's true personality is shown. She appears to be a shell of a human and is completely subservient to Liam, emotionlessly following his orders without question.

Notes[]

  • The novel explains that Janella was a former Merlotte's employee who knew Sookie. None of this is explored in the show.
