Jamie Gray Hyder is an American actress who plays the role of Danielle on the HBO original series True Blood. Making her debut on the episode "Turn! Turn! Turn!", at the beginning of the series' fifth season, Jamie is a co-starring actress who plays the role of a werewolf in the pack from Shreveport, Louisiana. Playing a recurring role through through the series' fifth and sixth seasons, Jamie made comments about how much longer Sam Merlotte is going to last under interrogation by the members of her pack, but she herself was last seen in the Season 6 episode "Dead Meat".
Biography[]
Jamie began as a stage actress at a very young age in Washington, DC. She sang in professional children’s choirs and had the opportunity to perform with a variety of theatre companies.
After high school graduation, she ventured to Athens, GA where she attended the University of Georgia and received her BA in Theatre and Film Studies.
She is of Lebanese descent on her father's side. Hyder has stated in the past she's dated both men and woman, while choosing not to label herself.
