Officer Hartzell is a guard for Governor Truman Burrell on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American actor Todd Quillen, Officer Hartzell makes his debut on the episode "The Sun" in the series' sixth season. Working for the Governor procuring vampires to place in Burrell's vampire concentration camp, Officer Hartzell is the guard who captures Eric Northman, and is last seen on the subsequent episode, "You're No Good", in the same season.

"The Sun"[]
He comes into Burrell's office with the other guards to take Eric to "camp". He is the one that grabs Eric and takes him outside. Outside the truck were Eric is going to be out in, Eric flies away, surprising them all. ("The Sun")

Hartzell along with the others storms into Willa's room looking to recapture Eric, but they are too late. ("You're No Good")
