Greg Collins, born December 8, 1952 in Troy, Michigan, is an American actor who plays the role of Gabe on the HBO original series True Blood. Trainer for the Soldiers of the Sun, a paramilitary branch of the Fellowship of the Sun, Greg makes his debut on the episode "Never Let Me Go" in the series' second season. A co-starring actor playing a recurring role through the same season, Greg was last seen in the Season 2 episode "Timebomb".

Greg was born Gregory Vincent Collins on December 8th,1952 in Troy, Michigan, USA. Standing 6'3" tall Greg was all American for football at Notre Dame and went on to play for The San Francisco 49ers, The Buffalo Bills, and the Seattle Sea-hawks. Now he prefers to watch hockey.Greg has been married to his spouse Amanda Collins in 2001 and they are still happily married with three children.
