Dwarves are a minor supernatural race. The only known dwarf in the series is Dr. Ludwig, a fearless supernatural species doctor who makes multiple appearances across the series as the go-to doctor that cure ailments in vampires and humans they associate with.
Appearance[]
Dwarves have a humanoid appearance, but are considerably shorter in stature than other humanoids. They otherwise do not have any defining physical traits or characteristics. As there is only one dwarf in the series, it is hard to say whether this is true for all dwarves, or just Dr. Ludwig.
History[]
Dwarves do not have a well explored history in the series, however Niall Brigant tells Sookie that fae have a contentious relationship with dwarves as they killed many of them. This can be confirmed by the way that Dr. Ludwig runs in fear from the house when trying to heal Bill when Sookie reveals her fae lineage. ("May Be The Last Time")
