David Messina is the primary artist of the True Blood Comic Books, the series of comics created to complement the HBO original series True Blood.

Biography

David Messina is the genius behind the beautiful artwork behind the True Blood Comic Books. He works for several artists in Europe and in the USA, but IDW Publishing remains his favorite. In his copious spare time, he teaches a new generation of artists at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Rome, and has since 2002. He maintains that many of his pupils, past and current, are trying to "kill" him (HA!).
