- "Back off, alright? I've done this before."
- ―Pamela Swynford de Beaufort, to Colin[src]
Colin was a young farmworker on the HBO original series True Blood. An unseen character living in Cornwall, England, Colin was made vampire by Pamela Swynford de Beaufort in the year 1906, just a year after she herself had been made by Maker Eric Northman. He is mentioned only on the episode "Turn! Turn! Turn!", at the beginning of the series' fifth season.
Biography
Background
Pam turned Colin because she was curious about what it would be like to have a progeny, and because she wanted to dominate a young man who was at his sexual prime. However, being a young, immature vampire herself, she quickly grew bored with her new plaything, and released Colin just a few short days after turning him, which upset him greatly.
Season 5
"Turn! Turn! Turn!"
Colin's new vampiric existence was not to last, however; and shortly after being abandoned by his maker he would accidentally meet the sun attempting to sleep in a coffin that wasn't "light-tight". Although Pam was nowhere near at the time, she felt her progeny's demise, nonetheless.
Powers and Abilities
Colin possessed the powers, abilities and weaknesses common to all vampires. However, due to his abandonment by his maker he may not have mastered them.
Trivia
- Colin does not appear in any episode of True Blood.
- Colin may have met the "True Death" after parting ways with Pam, as Bill states that most new vampires will die within a year without the guidance of their makers.
- Pam states that Colin was from Cornwall. Uncertain which Cornwall she was referring to, it is generally accepted that he is from the most well-known Cornwall: Cornwall, England.
