Chris Coy, born May 1, 1986 in Louisville, Kentucky, is an American actor who plays the role of Barry Horowitz on the HBO original series True Blood. Making his debut on the episode "Shake and Fingerpop" in the series' second season, Chris plays the role of a halfling, and a porter who works at the Hotel Carmilla in Dallas, Texas. When Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton stay at the hotel during their investigation of Godric's disappearance, Chris is the bellhop who assists them. Playing a recurring role through the series' second and fourth seasons, Chris is a guest starring actor who was last seen on the episode "She's Not There", at the beginning of the series' fourth season.

Biography[]

Chris Coy had a passion for acting at a young age. He grew up near Sarasota, Florida in a small city called North Port. He made the leap to Hollywood, California, and at 23 has landed a role in Alan Ball’s True Blood. He appeared in a total of four episodes in the second season.

He returned to HBO in 2012, starring in the third season of their series Treme.
