Chris Butler is an American actor who plays the role of Emory Broome on the HBO original series True Blood. Making his debut on the episode "She's Not There", at the beginning of the series' fourth season, Chris is a guest starring actor who plays the role of a shapeshifter who was friends with Sam Merlotte and Luna Garza. Playing a recurring role through the series' fourth and fifth seasons, Chris is murdered after reconnecting with Sam, following his breakup with Luna, meeting an untimely demise in the Season 5 episode "Let's Boot and Rally".

He is also known for his recurring role in the legal drama The Good Wife. He has also appeared in the films Rescue Dawn, Stephanie's Image, and The Haymaker.
