Carolyn Hennesy, born June 10, 1962 in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress who plays the role of Rosalyn Harris on the HBO original series True Blood. Making her debut on the episode "Authority Always Wins" in the series' fifth season, Carolyn plays the role of a chancellor of a semi-religious, clandestine council known worldwide as the Vampire Authority. Playing a recurring role through the same season, Carolyn is a co-starring actress who has cultivated a plain spoken, southern accented persona, and meets an untimely demise on the episode "Save Yourself", at the end of the series' fifth season.
