Brigette Stackhouse was a microbiologist on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American guest starring actress Ashley Hinshaw, Brigette makes her debut on the episode "May Be the Last Time" in the series seventh season. Traveling from Alaska to Bon Temps, Louisiana with former boyfriend Hoyt Fortenberry, Brigette winds up falling in love with local deputy, Jason Stackhouse. Playing a recurring role through the same season, she is shown to have gotten married to Jason, and the two have three small children. Brigette was last seen in the series' finale episode, "Thank You", in the series' seventh, and final, season.

"May Be the Last Time"[]
Brigette arrives in Bon Temps, Louisiana with Hoyt, to tend to his mother, Maxine's funeral plans.("May Be the Last Time")
"Almost Home"[]
Brigette bonds with Jason Stackhouse while Hoyt acts uncharacteristically cold and mean, particularly about Brigette's plans about starting a future together. Upset, Brigette decides to accompany Jason despite his warnings of the danger when he receives threatening messages from Violet Mazurski, and Jason reluctantly takes her along with him. Upon arriving at Violet's mansion, Jason leaves Brigette in the car with a gun loaded with wooden bullets for protection as it's safer for her than going with him to face a scorned 800-year old vampire, even with the Infected Vampires running around. Hoyt eventually arrives to help and uses the gun that Jason had left with Brigette to kill Violet and rescue his friends. Brigette enters and, disturbed by Violet's remains, is comforted by Hoyt, much to the disappointment of Jessica.("Almost Home")
"Love is to Die"[]
Jessica shows up at the Fortenberry home to speak to Hoyt. Brigette, already jealous and assuming that Hoyt knows Jessica, calls Jason upset when Hoyt chooses Jessica over her. She stays the night at Jason's house. They spend the night laying and talking in bed.("Love is to Die")
"Thank You"[]
Brigette is shown to have gotten married to, and is now living with, her current husband, Bon Temps deputy Jason Stackhouse. The two of them have three young daughters, and the five of them attend the communal 2014 Thanksgiving Day banquet held at sister Sookie's house.("Thank You")

Brigette is petite, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She has fair skin, and is 5-feet, 3-inches tall.
Personality[]
She is portrayed as beautiful, understanding, intelligent, kind and loyal. It is stated by her ex-boyfriend, Hoyt Fortenberry, that she does not like attention.
