Brian Poth, born June 9, 1975 in Tulare, California, is an American actor who plays the role of Vampire Matt on the HBO original series True Blood. Making his debut on the episode "Don't You Feel Me" in the series' sixth season, Brian plays the role of a gay vampire and a friend of Holly Cleary's. Playing a recurring role through the series' seventh, and final, season, Brian was kind, compassionate, and last seen in the Season 7 episode "Fire in the Hole".
