Future True Blood paths
Having read entries from fellow bloggers here and seen the daywalking capabilities of vampires, I think True Blood becomes a little unbalanced, vampires by nature are physically superior to humans with the exception of UV light and silver.
Just to have mentioned it: Staking, Fire, Decapitation kill Humans as well so these are not really weaknesses unique to vampires. Even UV light and silver in high doses will harm humans though not as fast as vampires. Silver poisoning can alter the skin and renders you highly prone to sunlight. It turns your skin into an ugly blueish color. This effect is so far thought to be irreversible.
Season 6 features daywalking vampires, which I rather dislike, now True Blood vampires are almost too powerful, and th…
Charlaine Harris brought Sookie's tale to an end
Charlaine Harris finished her commitment to her novel series. Leaving many fans with her last novel disappointed she reported many rather unpleasent bouts with zealous fans who's behaviour ranged from immature to severely in need of counselling. Allthough I never read her books, I believe I would not have as much pleasure now that I have watched the show, I would express my deepest gratitude for her work which laid the foundation for Alan Ball to create True Blood. Allthough I have been critical regarding many developments on the show I enjoyed having watched True Blood and the atmosphere the show created on the screen.
I would like you to speak your mind, how you think of the show, has your opinion changed over time, do you prefer the lite…
Will Faempire blood wear off?
We all know that Lilith found Warlow's blood delicious, so it would only be logical to assume that she had a bite or two out of him even after he was turned. That should mean that she acquired daywalking abilties. However, considering that Warlow ultimately killed her by exposing her to the Sun, I think this ability wore off after some time.
We already know that vampire blood wears off humans after some time, and fae blood wears off vampires after a while. Could it be possible that hybrid blood might also wear off all the current daywalking vampires after the "time-jump" that Brian Buckner spoke about happens?

Discussion Blog: Season 7 Villian?
So who do you think will be the Season 7 Villian? I am kinda hoping they will finally give Queen Mab her day and the final storyline she deserves but who knows with these writers. I was kinda thinking it may be reverend daniels due to it showing him talking to all the people of Bon Temps. Again we don't know yet who it will be but the writers did state that the Season 7 Villain will be revealed in next weeks Season finale.
Cant wait to see what you all think!

Warlow will take on daywalkers
So, in the latest promo for the Season 6 finale , Jason is shown carrying an unconsious Sookie back in her house.
There are also scenes where Jason, Bill(whom I believe will no longer have his Lilith-powers, because the synopsis mentions something about him paying a cost for salvation, and what better cost than losing Lilith's godlike powers) and Violet interract with Andy and Adilyn. In that scene, Violet(predictably) almost loses control when she gets a whiff of Adilyn's scent. I believe that this scene indicates that Jason will convince Andy to let bygones be bygones, and allow Bill and Violet to drink from Adilyn in order to enable them to enter the fae realm to rescue Sookie.
The reason why Sookie would need to be rescued is this: I thi…
Discussion Blog: Eric can't leave!!!
== So we find ourselves at the end of episode 9 with Eric flying away from Pam who shows fear in her eyes as well as her voice that Eric is leaving and who knows when he will be back.
All I have to say is the writers better not take him out of the show, if they do they will be making a big mistake and honestly it doesn't make sense for his character. I realize that he would be upset because of Nora dying but I would think that his love for his family is so important for him that it doesn't make sense for him to run away from his responsibilities as a maker. You would think he would heed Nora's wishes that Eric take care of the family he has left. Some may say he has already released Pam but it is obvious she still loves him and needs him, t…
Season 6-Life Matters Discussion
Okay. Let me Rant. I found this episode to be honest "ok"
I found it be highly predictable. The way Billith realized he could use his blood to give them. Dr Overlark's and the psych's death. Eric leaving and Bill almost dying and being saved.
However, I absolutely loved the funeral. I found it refreshing how they dealt with it. The actor's really shined. I loved Carrie's and Chris's performances. They were so moving. Also, crying Sam always gets me bad. Overall, one of the most beautiful scenes in the series so far.
Questions for you guys
Which character stood out for you the most?
Which actor gave the best acting job?
Is Violet the female Eric?

Discussion Blog: Alexander leaving True Blood?
So the rumor that Alexander Skarsgard is leaving True Blood after Season 6, continues to float around. Personally, I hate to think about this- but face it, maybe we should all brace ourselves for the worse.
Recently when asked, Kristin Bauer van Straten said of Eric's departure:
“It’s a fear of mine for a couple of reasons."
“I love being around him,” she continued, holding back her emotions.
So what do you think Trubies? Was Eric's flying away in Life Matters the end of Mr. Northman? Or maybe perhaps Eric will meet the True Death?
I'm sure most fans don't approve of either scenario!
Give us your feedback!
What do you think of episode "Life Matters"?
I enjoyed this episode "Life Matters" and Terry's funeral was very touching. I knew that Eric was going to seek his revenge and although I liked Steve Newlin and his comical ways, I knew that he was going to die. I knew that Eric was going to get him for being a snitch and traitor. But, I was disappointed that Jason let that crazy Sarah Newlin go! I was so sure that he was going to kill her. I am wondering if she will be a part of the finale and be the one responsible for still trying to eliminate the vampires. Her nutty ass is not the type to give up! I am also wondering if Bill is now no longer Billith but just Bill Compton like before. I hope so.
Issues with appearances for eric
having issues with this if anyone can help please feel free to do so the episodes are not showing up in the boxes along with their highlight -__- sorry only way to get anyone's attention.
Warlow vs Russell
The two oldest vamps that have physically appeared on the show square off against each other in this hypothetical match-up.
For purposes of fairness, Russell is given a small vial of Warlow's blood before the match begins so daytime is not an encumbrance on the fight. Both vampires are fully fed and at 100% strength. They can use all their abilities shown on the series so far. Outside interference is not allowed.
Sookie's life is the stake of the battle. BFR is off. Fight is to the true death. Who wins?
Unknown effects of hybrid blood
In the episode Don't You Feel Me, Eric was locked up in a steel cage from which he was unable to escape despite struggling earnestly. He was eventually freed by the guard whom Willa glamoured.
However, in the previews for the latest episodes, Eric is shown to be able to easily crush that steel cage by hurling some sort of large object at it.
Does this imply that Warlow's blood not only made him immune to the sun, but also vastly augmented his physical strength? Does this mean that faempire blood can amp up regular vampires in ways that ordinary faerie or halfling blood can't? Or is this seeming boost in power simply the result of Eric draining almost all of Warlow's blood? And if that is the case, would that put him on the same level power-…
The Prayer Preview (********Spoiler***********)
There are only two episodes left in True Blood Season 6, and the latest teaser promo for the rest of the season has us more excited than ever to see what happens next. It's also rife with hints about the end of the season, so we've taken a close look to see what we can learn that wasn't already revealed in the Episode 9 promo. The sun door begins to open. We see it at :05. Dun, dun, dun. Vamps feeding. At :10 we see vamps feeding off of someone as they look up. Then we see Pam, mouth covered in blood, looking up as the sun door opens. Do they drink Bill or Warlow's blood? (Maybe even Eric's?)
Blastoff! Vamp super powers activate at :19. Looks like Eric flying to us, but we're not positive. Faerie portal fun. At :19 we see Bill thrown out of…
Hybrid Blood
I'd like to point out the fact that a couple episodes ago, Sookie's powers were very feeble, very weak and dying. Then she drinks Warlow's blood and now she can teleport between planes?
The page on the hybrids says that this is a gift granted by Warlow's blood, however is it possible that Faerie Vampire hybrids' blood can "recharge" the powers of Halflings? Any thoughts?
Sookie as a hybrid and her fae magic?
We all know that sookies magic is finite but if she were to ecome a vampire fairy hybrid, would her magic still be finite and dissapear eventually or would her vampire side provide her with endless source of fae magic, despite her being a halfling? And I was also wondering,do halflings have those goblin-like forms like full-blooded fairies cause I cant remember it ever being said in the show.
Who is the most sympathetic villain in your opinion?
True Blood has had an array of antagonistic characters, each going down the road of being one of the bad guys for different reasons. You don't have to choose just between Drew Marshall, Maryann Forrester, Russell Edgington, Marnie Stonebrook, Salome Agrippa, or Sarah Newlin. It can be anyone whose been a villain, like Debbie Pelt or Steve Newlin. Which villain from the show do you find to be the most relatable?
Violet's Age
I couldn't get something out of my head. When Violet told Jason, about growing up Medieval Catholic. It spaked something. She quite possibly could be very old. Perhaps, she could be older than Eric. Because the Catholic Medieval revolution took place from 400 ad to 1499 ad. Making her at least 500 to at the most 1608 years old. I doubt she was made at the end and doubt she was made in the middle. But, would love to see her be 1000 years or around there. We need more older female vampires.
What do you guys think?
what would you think of Sookie becoming a Fairy-Vampire Hybrid?
Which out of the non-main major characters do you think will get the ax?
Warlow's misuse
Anyone else disappointed by the manner in which True Blood writers have turned Warlow into a glorified punching bag? First Bill easily neutralized him with the maker/progeny command ability, and now Eric drained him almost to the point of the true death, thanks to the fact that Sookie forgot to untie him before leaving the fae realm.
Will Warlow get any respite? Or is this miserable treatment of his character a reflection on the writers' inability to capitalize upon a character's potential?
Discuss.
Which main character do you guys think will be killed off?
There was sort of a spoiler given by one of the cast members saying that a main character or a fan favorite character might be killed off. Which character do you guys think it'll be?
Season 6 Episode 8: Dead meat discussion
What did everyone think abou the episode?
What was your favorite part?
Which character stood out the most for you?
Also, is there anything you except for next week's episode?
Who has a "Bun in the Oven"?
On another website, the synopsis and spoiler for the upcoming episode entitled, "Dead Meat" the following was stated: "The fate of the vampires hangs in the balance as Sookie tries to figure out where she stands on this week's episode of True Blood. She turns to an old friend for help, but that only complicates things even further. Meanwhile, Jason gets a lesson in prison rules from Violet, Alcide must decide what to do now that the Pack have kidnapped Nicole and her mom, and someone has a bun in the oven." So, I am wondering who is pregnant??? I am thinking maybe it is Sarah from her sexual affair with the Governor and she is behaving extra hormonal in her pursuit of eliminating vampires to protect her baby. What do you think????

Sookie and Warlow
So we have seen Sookie and Warlow be together, but do you think Warlow will turn Sookie into a Vampire-Faery hybrid, and do you think Bill and Eric will be surprised if she did get turned into one?
Dress Up Eric Northman
Hello Trubies!
Have you ever wanted to dress up Eric Northman? Is he your pick to be your True Blood boyfriend? Look no further, because Wikia is running a contest where we ask you to dress up your supernatural fantasy date. What would Eric wear if he came to pick you up for a date. You decide here!
Sookie new formed stupidity and other True Blood comments
Ok, Ok OK, I have a major Question, its Sookie really that stupid not to suspect anything from Warlow, i mean how come she became a fang lover so much, she can forget about:
1. Warlow scared her to death in the bathroom, saying "you are mine", that doesn say i love you too much.
2. Warlow killed and ate all the fairy friends she had in the Fairy Bar,
3. He sucked Nial and trow him to the Dark Plane.
I mean dont get me wrong i love True Blood, from Season 1, but sometimes its like the character are either stupid or the stories never get connected, i mean i was really surprised to see that Sookie found out about Terrys Death, i thought she wasnt gonna realized untill like the end fo the season, i mean i understand the shows timeline its contin…
Adilyn's fate?
So, I just watched the comiccon trailer for the coming weeks of True Blood. One thing that caught my eye was Eric assaulting Andy's surviving daughter somewhere in the middle of the video.
I have also read a few comments somewhere on this site that Sookie will use Adilyn as a sacrifical lamb to escape from the pact that binds her to Warlow. Aka that Warlow will end up turning her into the second faerie-vampire in existence.
So what do you guys think? Will Eric finish the job that Jessica started? Or will Warlow jump into the rescue and save Adilyn by turning her into a faempire hybrid, unwittingly creating a mate for himself and releasing Sookie from the contract?
Warlow's true form
Considering the fact that faeries are actually monstrous goblin-like creatires in reality, could it be that the bearded Undertaker like figure which appeared at the beginning of Season 6 episode 2, was Warlow in his real form?
Discuss.
Andy faerie daughter?
So,what I dont get is will Adilyin, andys daughter, stop growing now because of the plot and stay a teenager or will she continue growing up at fast rate?
Could Lafayette die soon?
OK... Don't get me wrong, I still love Lafayette but the way his character has been portrayed/written this season is somewhat odd.
Ever since Tara was turned into a Vamp, Lafayette hasn't shared many scenes with her - when you think about it, she was the only story Lafayette could develop with. Alan Ball or whoever even said back in Season 2 that they kept Lafayette alive (as opposed to the books) to explore his relationship with Tara but this season he's been completely on his own.
As of now he's just been slotted into other characters stories pretty randomly - so far he's been involved in Sam's/Alcide's, Sookie's and now Arlene's... I don't know, it just seems odd for some reason. I like that he get's to interact with more people but now …
Main page characters
So I don't know who arranges the character pics on the main page I assume it’s an admin, But i have a little problem with the way their set , is it by popularity or main characters , if it is by main character , the order isn't right according to the credits (which i don't mind it just irks me). what i do mind is having people that are not starring cast members there for example, Willa is under guest star status so why put her up there instead of i don't know.........Sarah Newline who is now the main villain of the season or Nicole Wright who is a starring cast members OR Holly who was a main character since season 4. Also since Nora is dead she shouldn't be up there either. again sorry if I come off a an obsessive lunatic but i do have a…
Rikki Naylor and Alcide Herveaux - who will win?
I am wondering now that Rikki seems to be leading Alcide's pack and if he will survive. I do not like Rikki (never did) and I am hoping that nothing happens to Nicole, her mom and Sam because Rikki is another power hungry and evil werewolf. There are rumors that Alcide may not make it beyond this season and although I had been disappointed in his behavior lately, he still has the good heart underneath. So, what do you think?
Who do you think will kill or try to kill Sarah Newlin?
I am wondering who will kill or try to kill Sarah Newlin. I am hoping that Sookie will find out what Sarah has been doing to Jason and beat her up or zap her to death (if possible). In fact, I was hoping that Jessica had killed her or put her down at Jason's home when she had the chance but Jessica was already devastated about Andy's fairy daughters. Sarah is power hungry and a bit out of control. So, who do you think will be the one to do the deed?
Nora and the Writer's Inconsistencies
Hi Truebies,
Can't tell you how disappointed I was with last nights episode. Yes, I was expecting Nora to die, wished she didn't but expected. I think she could have had more storylines before croaking. She kind of disappeared for a few episodes just to show up and die? Only one flashback scene and without Godric to boot? Poor form. The writers of True Blood have been in poor form.
But what disgusted me the most was the totally disregard to the shows continuity. I could have sworn it was said that Nora was over 500 years old and Eric even said that he had known her for almost 600 years. Then she was turned in 1665? 344 years is not almost 600, not even close. Yeah, all the vampires on the show tend to round a bit with their ages . . . but ta…
Discussion Blog: Sookie the Vampire!!!!
Okay so I have to admit when I first had this thought, I thought it was pretty wonky. I never in my life could see this virginial Sookie Stackhouse wanting to become a vampire. The more I have thought about it, why the hell wouldn't she? She gets all the upside of being a vampire without the downsides and she gets to keep her faerie powers? Now I can't think of a reason she shouldn't do it. The other part of is she can help Warlow and Bill save her friends if she is turned as well. That is just more the blood they can use to get everyone out alive. I just hope she makes the decision in time! I am honestly really invested in this season and not entirely happy with how things have been going but thats what has made it intriguing. It seems fr…
WAIT, They are going to kill off vampires in Episode 8 of Season 6?
Ok, in The Next Episode. the vampires are going to die?
- Tara Thornton
- Pam Swynford de Beaufort
- Jessica Hamby
- Steve Newlin
This is a shocking season of True Blood.
Why didn't she use magic?
So this is what I dont get.I just strated watching true blood a few weeks ago and am currently on season 4 so I still havent watched season 5 and 6.I was watching an episode where marnie comes and uses those vampires to slaughter people at that meeting where bill and nann were. And when she realised what she had done she teleported herself and the vampires away with antonias magic. So I dont get why didnt antonia teleport herself away when she was burning at the stake?
Bilith v Warlow
As the season 6 finale is nearing I thought I would come up with a scene which I feel would be a satisfying end to the current season. I have read somewhere that Warlow will take a turn towards his 'dark' side in this episode, specifically towards Sookie.
Sookie refuses the deal she and Warlow agreed upon and Warlow gets mad and his 5500 year old patience wears thin. (they are still in fairy land at this stage) He bears his fangs and creates a light ball in his hand which turns red (to symbolise his dark vampiric side). Sookie quickly jumps back through the portal and back to the Bon Temps cemetery. She finds Eric standing there and Warlow appears through the portal and he and Eric both bare their fangs at each other. Eric protects Sookie a…
Discussion Blog: Season 6 confusion
So I just finished watching episode "Don't You Feel Me" and I can honestly say I have NO idea what is going on and where the writers are going with this show.
There has been so many odd character changes that it's left me puzzled.
So Governor Burrell is already dead... that was, well... anti-climatic. Please don't tell me Sarah Newlin is now the "big bad" of the season.
Why on earth did Sookie give in to Warlow so fast? That is SO unlike the Sookie we've known in the past seasons. It felt so strange and rushed- I seriously don't know what to make of it. Example: She JUST told Eric she wanted to be "that girl" she was when they had first met in Fangtasia. Eric gave Sookie back her house, to give her some kind of normalcy back. So to continue o…
What Year?
We saw that when Marnie died it was 31st octomber, 2009. Ok. But now we are 2 seasons ahead! So we have December or what? The weather is very sunny and i think that they are in the spirng of 2010.... Please, telll me, somebody! :)
maybe not so important
I browse TB wiki quite often and it's hard to miss that there are minor changes to minor characters like vampires. The ages change etc, which I think is quite dramatic following the show's logic older vampires are more powerful and command deference from younger ones. While most authority chancelors were initially as ancient as pas 2000 years old, now the figures dropped dramatically, how did this come to be? Are there any sources.
I regret that vampires though seasoned entities are killed of red-shirt style. They should be atuned to be ceaselessly watching their surroundings, it is a tough sell to have a creature desiring eternal life to die so foolishly.
Unless the centuries made a vampire dull and it no longer cares for its own survival. …
This Is one hella of a new season.
Ok, first at all. Ben Flynn was injuryed in Episode 2. and then. in Episode 4 At Last. Nail finds out that Ben is Warlow? wow. this is one Weird Season
Nora!
OK so after last nights episode, I've had it.
Nora is one of my favourite newcomers to the show over the last 5 seasons yet this season she was only in episode 1 and has only popped up in one scene up to 6x05. After 6x04 when she got captured, I became worried that she will be killed off this season which is unfair because she barely had any screen-time. I will admit that it's annoying whenever she speaks because now all she talks about is the book of Lilith and Warlow, but like I said, that's only because she has little screen-time these days.
Is anyone else annoyed that she hasn't appeared so often or worried that she will be killed off?
Is Warlow the only progeny?
There is one thing I am curious about; did Lilith have other progenies? It doesn't make much sense to me that Warlow could possibly be her only progeny, he hates Vampires and he hated his Maker enough to kill her (Which Godric did himself..) You'd think there'd be mention of other progenies, because I don't think Warlow would go about making other vampires considering his distaste for them.. so Vampires wouldn't really exist, Lilith being the original Vampire and all. It'd be interesting if there were other progenies, what if some still exist? Imagine a few, angry pissed 'Ancients' turning up to deal with Warlow for killing their maker.
THOUGH. I'm probably the only person that wants this but I would just love a mini-series of 6 episodes re…

Arabic language in " Fuck The Pain Away"
Being a Lebanese with an Arabic mother tongue, I could not help but be amazed at the use of Arabic Language in some instances in Fuck The Pain Away, specifically in Warlow's flashbaks as he recalls his conversations with Lilith and his tribe.
The first indication that was startling was the question that Lilith , and later Warlow's dad asked him: "What Are You?"
The question, as pronounced is :" Ma Ant", which is the exact Arabic translation of the question : " What Are You"
I could also pick up on three words as well . " Allah " = God. " Wa Anta" = And You
and " Dimaa" ( Dimaa in Arabic is Blood ) which is consistent with the translation " vampire" . Arabs refer to vampires, in Arabic as Blood Suckers.
As far as I am concerned, and partly…
True Blood renewed for a 7th Season
That's right guys today HBO ordered a seventh season for the hit vampire series! how do you feel excited? Let us know in the comments
Discussion Blog:Royal Blood is key to making Vampire Hybrids
Disclaimer: Only the information concerning Warlows intentions to turn Sookie and Bill being able to control Warlow has been verified 100% by the show. My theory that royal blood is the key is drawn from information given from the show and is certainly up for debate and not 100% verified by the show at this time.
So I find that finally for once I was right about three things for certain when it comes to Warlow. One is that because he is royal is why he can be turned to vampire but keep his faerie powers and the contract for Sookie was always about him continuing his line of faerie vampire hybrids as well as having someone who is truly like him and can truly understand him to be there to love him and travel the world with him. He does intend…
Cancellation of True Blood?
Will True Blood survive this season, and be renewed for a seventh season? Or will True Blood meet the True Death?
This sixth season has been reduced to 10 episodes for spending cuts, and lack of funds...in addition to Anna Paquin's pregnancy.
Ratings and viewers have been going down, sadly. Is it because of other TV shows which are becoming more successful than True Blood, perhaps HBO's Game of Thrones that is grabbing away our Truebies?
On my part, I am doing everything I can to keep True Blood going. I try to catch it on TV every Sunday, and subscribe to HBO on my computer. I also try to spread the word about True Blood, and I own some merchandise, but I'm not obsessive. Don't get me wrong, I love True Blood! My love extends only so far, so don't…
Who's against who
Allow me to start by saying that the latest episode - At Last - is the best I have ever watched since the series began.
I had not felt this way for many many years, not only while watching True Blood, but also while watching any other series whatsoever. I gotta saythat Alan Ball really and deeply inspired the new team. What do you expect anyway, from the famous Six Feet Under director ?
Not to go into other "realms" now, I have this urge to share my expectations and anticipation with you guys, as a new member in the wiki, and as a True Blood fanatic whose thurst increases every week.
Ever since season 4 ended, it became clear that the plot will get more complex. We had moved away from small details and small worlds of Sookie-Bill-Eric love t…
