Bill and Sookie, better known as Bookie, is the term referring to the main relationship cultivated on the HBO original series True Blood.

Coined after the names of the two predominate characters of the show, Bookie is a friendship turned romantic relationship turned friendship between the vampire Bill Compton and the halfling faerie Sookie Stackhouse. Sookie had remained loyal to Bill; until the end of Season 3; when she learns that; Bill had originally been sent; by queen Sophie-Anne Leclerq to spy on her and in Season 4; when she begins to reciprocate Eric Northman's affections. Despite these circumstances, Sookie still care about Bill and is always there to help him; when he is in trouble.
