Austin Hébert is an American actor who plays the role of Virgil on the HBO original series True Blood. Making his debut on the episode "Spellbound" in the series' fourth season, Austin is a guest starring actor who plays the role of a caucasian plantation owner living during the early 20th century. Although already married, he had a bastard baby with a young African-American woman named Mavis. This situation made Virgil fear about anyone knowing about his affair, and because of it he killed her and their child. Austin meets his demise on the subsequent episode, "Let's Get Out of Here", in the same season.
