What's on your mind?
As most of you recall, in the first episode of the second season, Lafayette finds himself in the dungeon in the basement of Fangtasia. Does anyone know who the young woman in the cocktail dress is on the opposite side of the wheel, and what she did to earn lodging down there? She (meaning the actress) has a non-speaking role, and apparently isn't listed in the credits.
Could someone please refresh my memory? What happened to Layfette's SV9 sports car that Eric gave him for selling V? I only remember seeing him with it in a couple episodes. It's driving me insane lol
Thanks so much
Hey, everyone! Just wanted to drop in and say a few things to my fellow admins and to the users and editors of the True Blood wiki. First and foremost, I hope everyone is doing great! I am so sorry I haven't been as active lately as I should be. I'm sure you guys understand how hard it can be to keep up with a show that's no longer airing. It's hard when there's not any new episodes or information to go by anymore. But I was reading through some of the pages and I am thinking of starting to watch the show again. It's been forever since I watched it and enjoyed its wonderful madness haha. Secondly, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! I am a religious person so I do celebrate Christmas as a Christian holiday but I still hope those of you who don't have a great one or those of you that celebrate Hanukah and other holidays do as well. Thirdly and finally, how are all of you?! It's been so long since we've all talked here, so comment down below if you're still around.
During the Spanish Inquisition scenes of season 4, several of the actors were obviously mixed-race Latinos and and a Lebanese-American man. This is not only historically wrong but a late 20th century-21st century generalization of Spanish-speaking peoples. During the Inquisition, the Spanish authorities held purity of European blood to such a precedence that anyone who was Jewish or Muslim was persecuted. Those accused of witchcraft were not the main victims of this form of ethnic cleansing. Due to the higher previlence of those from Latin America in the U.S., most Americans tend to forget that Spaniards are actually white Europeans.
The creaters of True Blood should have done more of their research before they created those scenes.
If a Hep-V carrier got turned into a vampire, what would happen? Would they start showing symptoms straight away (and is the cure widely available- i cant remember)?
If a vampire drank the blood of a faerie-vampire would the other vampire be able to daywalk?
Godric is over 1,000 years older then Klaus and both TO/TVD and True Blood respect the rule of the age of a vampire adds to there stregth, klaus is a hybrid but as far as i can remeber werewolf bites dont do anything to true blood vamps. Yes Klaus can only be killed by white oak but lets say white oak is in play but in neithers possession, could godric get to it and kill klaus or would klaus give godric the true death? I take Godric by far.
Sookie was pregnant in the final scene of the show. Do we know the father? He might have been at their dinner table but I didn't catch him.
Russell Edgington is very old vampire (850+ year old) that had superhuman strength and speed that beyond most vampires, he can overpower Eric Northman. While Marryan Forrester is an ancient, powerful maenad (8000 year old, which make her older than Russel Edgington), she possessed numerous unique and rare abilities that relative to her god, Dionysus. We known that Russell was strong enough to overpower another very old vampire such as Eric Northman, but Marryan are more older than him, she has divine powers (while vampires only have superhuman physicak abilities and glamour) and her blood is poison to vampires. Who will win, Marryan or Russel?
cannot forget the first(?) date of Lafayette and Jesus, I felt the chemistry or what yolu'd like to call it...
Can somene tell me what was that episode, I'd like to watch it again, to see if makes me feel the same, thanks.
I think it is no wonder than the human mind has made up vampires, what is more sexy than warm, soft neck!?!
I went to the Werewolf page on the wiki and I noticed that there's no section on how to become a werewolf. Is it just never established in True Blood? Or is there a way, and it's just undocumented here?
If there's a way, how is it done in the True Blood universe please?
Hey all you True Blood fans! I'm one of the admins of this awesome and wonderful wikia and I have some news related to another horror show. So if you watch True Blood then I'm sure many of you are horror fans, I'm also sure many of you love the Scream film series. Some of you may have heard that there's a TV series based on Scream coming June 30th. Looks awesome to me! So I have created a wikia for it. Titled: http://sceammtv.wikia.com/. This wiki is sort of like a unofficial companion wiki to the main wiki related mostly to the films and contains info related strictly to the series. I'm sure many of you are looking for new shows now that True Blood is sadly over, so while you're not rewatching the wonderful seasons of True Blood, check it out! Hope to see some of you there :D
A poll to rank the best villains of True Blood.
When it comes to True Blood, I don't like any of the useless romantic relationship material as most of that is just used as a device to lure audiences into liking the main vampires, which doesn't hold any moral or psychological conflict on the battlefield. The only vampires I like are also the ones who die in the process of maintaining their beliefs. I prefer almost all the antagonistic characters in True Blood and the ones who die with their beliefs as opposed to succumbing to equal rights. I strongly dislike most vampires in the show and love the evil humans who try to take them out at all costs. The humans prove that even without "powers" they are truly more sinister and villainous than an entire civilization of vampires put together, and I love them for it. Additionally, I would like to mention that I strongly despise Eric and Bill both and they are two of my least favorites, both for the role that they play, their persona, attitude, the things they do, and the character archetype that they are. They are as annoying to me as characters like Vader of Star Wars, Wolverine of X-Men, Vegeta of DBZ, and others who are the anti-hero type and tough at all times, etc. The true sinister villains at heart appeal to me so much more as they die with their honor and portray actual villainy.
Here is a listing of my most favorite characters from True Blood in specific order:
1. Rene Lenier
2. Steve Newlin
3. Luke McDonald
4. Bud Dearborne
5. Eddie Gauthier
6. Elijah Stormer
7. Truman Burrell
8. Dr. Overlark
9. Dr. Finn
11. Jorge Alonso de San Diego
12. Talbot Angelis
13. Franklin Mott
14. Luis Patiño
16. Royce Williams
17. Jesus Velasquez
18. Dieter Braun
19. Kibwe Akinjide
"Antonia Gavilán de Logroño, better known simply as Antonia Gavilán, was a powerful 17th Century witch from Logroño, Spain"
Then she cursed all the vampires:
"Fueled with the hatred of vampires, Antonia sought revenge by casting a powerful spell that would summon all vampires within a twenty-mile radius to expose themselves to the sunlight. She was burned at the stake in the Inquisition."
But I'm just confused about Lilith.
"Lilith is known as the Progenitor and is the first vampire, supposedly made in God's image. She's believed by many vampires to have been created before Adam and Eve, who, according to the Book of the Vampyr, were designed to sustain Lilith"
Lilith is long before the witch Antonia Gavilán, as if Lilith turned the fae Macklyn Warlow into a vampire in the year 3500 BC.
Warlow "he returned to the cave in which she slept, and used his photokinesis to destroy part of the ceiling of the cave, allowing the sun to come through and destroy the progenitor of all vampires.("F**k the Pain Away")"
The question is why/how did Lilith die by the sun?
When the vampires wasn't cursed yet?
